Source Forms: Paintings from within
Exhibit February 24 to April 12
Source Forms: Paintings from within’ welcomes you to explore the relationship between creative instinct and organic forms with new work by Henken Bean and Eva Kozlowski. The two artists’ contrasted styles highlight the inherent friction between what is imagined, expressed, and refined through the lens of the individual. With a focus on feeling and form, our combined body of work hopes to awaken the viewer to their creator within.
OUR CAMPUS
Whitemarsh Learning occupies the second oldest building on St. Thomas' 42-acre campus in Fort Washington. St. Thomas' was founded in 1698. The original portion of the building, which served as Ellen Sheaff's, was completed in 1855 and was later expanded to connect to the oldest remaining building on campus, the "Corner House." Whitemarsh Learning and its Corner House neighbor are pictured.
The St. Thomas 42-acre campus is a level I accredited arboretum. St. Thomas’ environmental stewardship means Whitemarsh is solar-powered! We are committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a minimum of 50% within ten years. In 2020, St. Thomas’ constructed a photovoltaic solar farm on the campus. The system provides almost all of the electrical needs for the entire campus.
